A trip east on Hearst, from Oxford to Euclid. A trip I took many times myself when I lived up in the Berkeley Hills. The scuffle at about the 2:00 mark is particularly choice.
There are two things I find striking about this clip. The first is how barren the hills are. It’s hard to imagine those hills weren’t always covered by houses. The second is the realization that Berkeley has always had an issue with jaywalkers. What is it about that town and jaywalkers?
