From 2004-07, I worked as a announcer, reporter, and producer for KCUR FM in Kansas City, Mo. One of the highlights of my time there was hosting the final six months of "Just Jazz," one the station's long-running music shows. I also covered jazz for the station's news department, and reviewed new jazz releases for KCUR's Up To Date, keeping track of all this in a blog called The New Low Down.
After leaving radio, I continued to blog about new releases and concert reviews, as well as creating The New Low Down Podcast, an occasional series of conversations about music.
